Work Progressing on Girls II
The Gilded Age: The Girls From Alcyone, book II
It’s been nearly two months since the publication of The Girls From Alcyone, and I couldn’t be happier. Sales are continuing to exceed my expectations. We hit #10 on iTunes Best Seller list for Science Fiction & Fantasy in Canada, and #39 on Amazon.com’s Top 100 Bestseller list for Science-Fiction & Adventure. Plus, your responses have been wonderful!
I’m deep into the 1st Draft of TGfA II. I’m tentatively calling it The Gilded Age, but expect that to change. I never seem to get titles right until I’m deep into the book.
I can’t wait to share with you what’s coming. But, of course, I can’t say anything about it yet.
What I can say is, this is just the beginning. Stay tuned!
Much more to come...

The Girls Go Live
Excerpt (from TGfA):
The Council Envoy ignored the last remark and grabbed Sigrid’s arm again.
He gurgled ever so slightly as Sigrid’s free hand gripped his throat, lifting him clear off the ground. His eyes bulged and he grabbed frantically at her arms; his feet kicked out madly as his outstretched toes reached for the ground.
“Sigrid!” Hitomi’s hand came up, half-covering her mouth in surprise.
Sigrid had as little intention of going with the Envoy as she had with Sara. “I’m afraid I won’t be taking that contract offer from the Council at this time,” Sigrid said, her eyes locked fiercely on his. “You may file your own grievance.”
“Goodness,” Hitomi said. “Just don’t … kill him.”
